what do network cozthat can fit in yourmputer have to do with smartphones?
The article is abouthow many people in the world use smartphones/cellphones rather than PC's as it is more convenient, portable, compact and integrated. He is not talking about dumb terminals that can use VNC, RDP, X-Windows but small devices that can fit in your pocket and are used by more people than PCs are. What is everones obsession with some large, heavy PC and being chained to their desk?

In many cities outside if the US, people use laptops and cell/smartphones to conduct bsuiness. They have city wide WiFi GRIDs in some cities (outside the US). They are not walking up to some kiosk or dumb terminal, they have a highly integrated device in their pocket that allows them to have discussions (phone), take pictures, video conference (3G), send messages (SMS, e-mail, MMS, etc.), etc. These are not SunRays or NCs!
