That was our experience...
Yes, smoking can kill - in our case it did. In the real world, however, this is no laughing matter.

Shortly after moving a customer's servers to our facility, a couple of the Dell servers did exactly that, followed shortly thereafter by their untimely demise. This was exactly as described in the article.
