When intel releases this hog at 4Ghz, AMD can raise their performance ratings on their chips without actually making any design changes.
I just see it now. The Athlon64 4000+ will only have to run at 2.5ghz to match the P4/4Ghz, and a G5 running at 2Ghz will probably smoke it too.
