Mac users have known this for years.
That's why a 6 Pipeline 500 mhz can
outperform a 1 ghz 15 Pipeline G3 and even
more proof was when a 6 pipeline 533 ghz G4
performed almost evenly with a 733 ghz G4
with a longer pipeline. The lower end dual 533
beet the 733 in 4 out of 5 tests. Other than
different processors the mainboards and RAM
were the same. Intel better get busy improving
or replacing Itanic or they will be in trouble in
the high end desktop market.
