E-Waste Tax
We have to pay an Recycling Tax on electronics. It varies based on size which is STUPID!

Here's why. I buy a print and it has an $8 recycling fee attached. I use it for 6 months then run out of ink and I toss to buy a another printer and pay another $8 recycling fee.

Next I buy 42" HDTV and I have to pay $75 for it. But I'll keep the TV for 10+ years.

Now how is this good for recycling? Would it not be better to charge $75 recycling taxes on printers and $8 on TVs? This would encourage printer manufacturers to not make throw away products and over all reduce the amount of E-Waste produced in the first place.
