VIA 500 to 800 mhz doesn't need a fan. 800 mhz and above does but not a killer copper one. The processors they have are no good for extensive graphics. They are good for general purpose computing like office or web browsing. Forget 3D rendering in AutoCAD or other modeling software or the latest games.

I have the VIA homepage bokmarked.

I think the AMD Geode would be a better low watt choice for economic computing.
