Hey, everybody: Learn to spell
No matter how brilliant and intelligent your thoughts are, many readers automatically discount what you have to say if you can't even spell correctly.

It also doesn't help your case if you blather on about how the oil companies are out to rape the public and the environment. Next thing you know, you'll cite the "100mpg carburetor" that the oil companies suppressed just so that everyone was forced to keep buying more gasoline. Give me a break.

An MIT magazine recently mentioned that, in their opinion, a vehicle using a diesel/electric hybrid came very close to the theoretical limit for efficiency. That technology is here today, and I suspect we'll start seeing diesel/electric hybrids in the next few years. The other alternatives, such as hydrogen, all-electric, and fuel cell are still way off in the future, relatively speaking.
