hmm

Everyone keeps bringing up the 1Ghz chip that AMD pushed out.. but fails to mention the amount of issues that came about by forcing it. "It's fast! It's 1GHZ... it's... it's... It's heating my entire house!!! How efficient!"

I give AMD Kudos on the technology they've built on. They took a different route to achieve speed and have succeeded in making the competition bring more and more technological advances. The way I look at it, the more competition, the better.... I just don't see why lawsuits have to be brought into it every 2 days because one claims that another did this, etc. Someone's got to be in the lead, and the other is going to be jealous. It's life.. they need to concentrate more on the future (as AMD has done) and quit pattering around like schoolyard kids.

They're both incredible chips... I've just never had an Intel chip fry on me or be DOA (like 6 AMD's I've had in the past).

Overall.. it's Intel with the Torque and AMD with the horsepower. We shouldn't complain too much, their competition brings us better products, faster.
