INTEL to pay treble damages
1) Prove there is a x86 market--this is trivial, IBM
Compatible PC is x86.

2) Prove AMD is the tech leader or of equal status to
INTEL:

A) AMD released the first 1GHZ 32 bit x86 chip
(Athlon)--this is a fact

B) AMD has moved the x86 market from 32 bit to 64 bit
computing across the board, on mobile, embedded,
desktop and server. INTEL's 4 teams failed to do 64
bits on x86. AMD invented AMD64 x86_64 instruction set
and made the first 64 bit x86 CPUs. Then INTEL copied
AMD64 instruction set to some of INTEL's x86 desktop
and server platforms, INTEL is still in the process of
copying the AMD64 instruction set to INTEL's 32 bit
Pentium-M(Witness, INTEL Fellow Richard Wirt, some
tech people from Microsoft, etc).(comment: AMD should
not talk about DCA, no jury or judge will understand
it, and INTEL has not copied DCA yet)

C) AMD designed ADM64 64 bit x86 for dual core from
ground up in 1999. INTEL was still focusing on single
core clockspeed in 2004. After learning AMD's dual
core plans, INTEL did a kuldge job to strap two P4s
together (Witness, INTEL engineer Jonathan Douglas and
his HotChips conference presentation)

D) AMD's x86 CPU is in SuperComputer top 10(cray
RedStorm XT3 with 5000 Opteron). INTEL has NO x86 CPUs
in supercomputer top 10, see supercomputer top 10
list(this attack is sweet, since INTEL kept using
supercomputer as the show of tech leadership).

3) Then show INTEL tried to illegally monopolize the
x86 market, essentially pushing down lower products
down customer's throat at higher ASPs (INTEL ASP was
above $100, AMD was below $100).

4) Then show when INTEL reduces its illegal activity,
AMD share can grow substantially. Example, right after
JFTC ruling, in a single quarter, Opteron market went
from 7% to 15.7% -- One quarter's growth was more than
2 years' growth. (INTEL claims that AMD server grew
because AMD increased production, but that argument
was not valid, AMD still has a lot of unsold Opterons
made in previous years--I recently bought NEW (unused)
Opterons made one or two years ago)

Conclusion:

INTEL's market dominance and profits are not due to
the stuff it claims in its response, but illegal
activity.
