Better than Li-ion batteries
If they can get a compact, lightweight fuel cells to replace laptop, cellphone, and PDA batteries, it would be a great boon to the industry, assuming the cells have the 10+ operational hours spoken of here. As long as it's easy and inexpensive to re-fuel, I'd replace the batteries in all my devices with these things.

This will be one of the top technologies to watch in '04, I bet.
