fuel cells maybe at long last
40 years ago i worked at GE at the unit supplying the fuel cells for the gemini spacecraft, and i synthesized a new perfluro monomer for a new type of fuel cell membrane. pratt and whitney was making the fuel cells to be used on the upcoming apollo missions. since then , nothing.
over the years i have read so many stories that said next year we will have them for use in homes, or cars, or whatever, but i am still waiting. i hope that i live long enough for them to come to fruition commercially, but after all these years i am still leary and still waiting.
