Well, that is ignorant, but if you haven't been exposed to the world of big Iron, it is tough for you to really know. I am at a small site with a small iSeries Midrange system that clocks in at a mere $350K. It is only a Single processor system with 2 Gigs of RAM and about 350 GB of RAID 5 Storage. These are all in 36GB 10K or 15K Drives. This system also houses two Pentium 4 1.6 GHz Xeon boxes that have access to the IOPs of the iSeries. Keep in mind that is just a baby.
