That's an unknown
but hopefully it means looking for traffic that is continually phoneing home and/or broadcasting throught a range. I do developement too and don't want the false possitives but if it is done correctly most developers will have nothing to worry about. Unless of course you're writing a netwrok security tool or something like it.
