A couple of years ago I had a similar idea. My idea went one step further and I wanted not only to disconnect PC's from the network, but even disable routers and other network devices.
To my surprise investors and network equipment companies showed absolutely no interest in my idea.
Today, I'm in doubt that the idea will be accepted by a large enough number of customers who has to buy the devices to get the problems solved.
