Broadcast virus? As far as I know, no matter how the virus propagates itself (e-mail, executable, script, etc.) it still has to be propagated from one machine to another. The whole purpose of the mechanism is to prevent exactly what you're talking about, infection of the entire network. Sounds like a pretty cool idea to me.
