We already can buy 4GB Flash cards (CF)
" At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this year, SanDisk said it will begin selling a 2GB Memory Stick Pro card next month. "

So what's new? That SanDisk is catching up with its competition?

Look at Lexar. They already sell 4GB CF cards for months and they have the fastest cards with Write Acceleration technology (WA) at write rates 40X.

SanDisk only drags behind them . Most manufacturers still do not notice of need to comply with base CF specification to allow read at maximim speed that is 24X. Lexar media has that. Most manufacturers are sleepy Cinderella's that give media with at most 12X read rate.
