With PPC you can build..

Of the top 10 systems from the June 2005 Top 500 Supercomputer roundup, six were PPC-based systems from IBM. It appears that only one Intel-based system even made the top 10 (Lawrence Livermore Lab's Thunder, based on Itanimum2) and no AMD-based systems.

Most stuff in this league runs *NIX or Linux. IBM's Bluegene systems seem to run CNK/Linux primarily.
