You must be using an old copy of Loverock's dictionary, where it spells "Linux" wrong.

The PowerPC chips are not just going away (look at Mr_Dave's post above), and if you look closely at the specs on them (again, Mr_Dave's post) you will see that there is a lot to recommend in them.

Since Apple is moving away from them, if we lose those chips then competition will be reduced and Intel and AMD can start moving upward as far as pricing goes.

Yea for Terra Soft.
