Shipping all non-management jobs overseas.
They should turn profit. First they grow way too fast. Then they lay off most of the manufacturing, and now they are moving the support and technical work overseas.

Their products suck (I know telco resellers who tell me so) compared to others in the market, they are too upper management heavy and the morale of the remaining employees (who go through a quarterly job reduction death march) is lowetr than the belly of a snake. You thought HP was run by a bunch of clowns. This place makes HP look like heaven.

The highly qualified people they are now getting ready to lay off (look for another round in November) are asked to train their overseas replacements.

Lucent is not a good company, to work for or buy products from.
