- More cobbled crap from InHell
-
InHell has been playing catch-up to AMD's superior technology for the past 6 years since Athlon was introduced. Anyone with a clue already knows this. AMD has executed on every model CPU and is at least a generation and a half ahead of InHell - again all acknowledged by industry sources. InHell on the other hand has canceled or recalled countless CPU and chipset designs and even Mobos. On top of that InHell has lost market share across the board to AMD on laptop-desktop-server chips. In fact AMD has sold more desktop CPUs the past three quarters than InHell has - per industry sources.
And now that AMD and the JFTC and the EU have all filed lawsuits against InHell for violation of anti-trust laws and now that InHell has no competitive products for at least a year or two, you find InHell execs dumping InHell stock as fast as they can. See SEC filings for proof!
What AMD has that InHell does not have is proven, superior technology and AVAILABLE products that deliver better performance and value. And AMD has delivered on their promise to customers for 6 solid years, which InHell has never done. Instead InHell has shipped defective goods, generated recalls, sold flame throwing heaters they refer to as CPUs, etc.
Those in DENIAL about these industry facts only need to take their head out of the sand and read EE Times and other industry publications to confirm what is established FACT. That is the reason why every major server mfg. other than DULL has switched to Opteron. It's also the reason all the major IT mfgs. are part of the lawsuits against InHell for violation of anti-trust laws. InHell's monopolistic days are over and consumers will be the beneficiary of the demise of InHell, which is actually self-imposed based on their huge ego. - Posted by: realitycheck101 Posted on: 08/12/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
