Why we don't need more engineers in the U.S.
In this day and age of global opportunities, in the high cost West, paper qualifications are a lot less in demand than unique sector based skills.

It is impossible to understand how you believe your time in college was a waste, with two degrees in the sciences under your belt. One can only ask if your perspective is one that is based on the papers you picked up,or one that is actually based on the information you acquired.

With such information, your ability to find combinations that will result in the construction of a unique skill should be very high. This of course should make you a lot more resilient to economic shocks. The question then should be one of if you are actually applying your skills in a manner that gives you the best advantages as opposed to if you do in fact believe that opportunities should be granted to you for the mere possession of papers.

One only hopes that your embarking on a policy that seeks to discourage others from acquiring the opportunities you now so frivolously discard will amount to little.
