A 12 percent increase...
in Macintosh computer deliveries in the quarter definitely
prove the naysayers wrong about the eventual death of
Apple (Macworld or Macsnore, Farber's article complaining
about how lack of market share gains equals death in the
industry, etc.)

Is it possible that just maybe some minds are being
changed, that maybe the techno-lemming approach is
dying off? Or is it possible that the tremendous advantages
gained by a verticle hardware approach over a verticle
software approach is finally being appreciated by the
market place?

To keep competition alive, let's frigging hope so.

BTW, what other hardware companies or software
companies had the kind of growth that Apple had? Now
THAT would be a good article to read in ZDNet because
people like winners and Apple definitely is a market leading
winner.
