Product for A Reason
I see that the PSP might be of a potential competitor with the GBA, but with all those extra features just makes a lot of people doesn't want it because people want a gaming device mainly for gaming not to watch movies, or listen to music or use it as a communication device.

Heres what I think:
A cell phone should just be a "cell phone" for people to call or talk not to play games. Some temparily game play might be find like tetris or some sort of puzzle games to keep busy while you're bored.

A gaming handheld device should just be use for gaming and nothing else. I don't want to get interrupted by a call while playing a good game thats why I think it should just be itself.

Price is the biggest factor to this. Even thought the PSP might cost well over $400 dollars, they might sell it for $299 and use the selling of game profits to earn those money back. But still GBA is still dominating the handheld market, people trying to get into the handheld market will have to do a lot of very good convincing to beat GBA.

Thats what I think, but don't take my word for it.
