Flukes and seasonal variations happen.

The story you linked showed what big news it was when notebooks outsold desktops for a full month for the first time.

As in back to school, there are probably months in which notebooks sell comparatively better than other months.

We're not disagreeing about your point that notebooks are still doing well. It's not necessary to exaggerate.
