- Has the notebook-to-handheld conversion begun?

This set up works for some but not all people. I bet their sales team might be a littled ticked off about this. What happens when a member of the sales team goes to a client's site to do a presentation? You aren't going to do that from a handheld. And what about remote server access. Say the sales rep needs to access/update a file on the corporate server? Thats shelling about another hundred bucks or so for an application to load on his blackberry to do that. Sounds like more bad than good.
Then there's the cost side of the equation. Corporate laptops generally run about $1,000 to $1,500, that's higher than a desktop ($700) or a handheld ($300 to $500)
Yes, I can see how the desktop at $700 and handheld for $300 (700 + 300 = 1000) costs more than that $1500 dollar laptop??? - Posted by: Loverock Davidson Posted on: 08/03/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
