finally, they are on the right track
After the lessons learned from Itanium's low adoption and x86-64's integration they are on the right track.

Now can they get the chipset / FSB architecture to boast a clear advantage over hypertransport they may actually get some bragging rights, and by flexing muscle with vendors by threating to lose volume discounts if they use any comptetion's products - that bought them valuable time to bring a product that is actually efficient and powerful.
