This will not help AMD....
AMD needs to be afraid, VERY AFRAID. My rep and I were discussing this over coffee today at Tully's. We change from Starbucks every now and then just to make sure we are not too predictable. After bantering about who should pay for the coffee and who should expense it, we came to an agreement that Sun does not have the enterprise credentials to help AMD. AMD is best suited with help from Microsoft in optimizing AMD chips to run .NET 2.0 at the best possible speeds. If any company has a clue as to how win the enterprise game, it is Microsoft. As my rep says: "The Sun is setting and Microsoft is rising".
