Longhorn is behind this...
I assume most enterprises are doing EXACTLY what I am doing: loading up now on PC's thatcan handle Longhorn. My BASE LEVEL computer now is a dual-core 4ghz workstation with 2GB OF RAM and a 300GB hard disk. This gives us basic performance on the Longhorn builds I have FORCED my MCSE's to use. My rep said I might need to up the requirements once Longhorn is final in case it requires more memory. I told my Dell rep to make sure there is plenty of RAM in Austin in order to handle my supply.
