re: RE: "Hey, Hold on a second there!"
What's wrong with this country is that it's full of whiners who have nothing better to do but to point fingers at someone else for all of their woes. It's also full of people who think they know everything when they very little about which they whine about. Don't you get it?

CEO's aren't stupid. On the contrary, they're very saavy given the ability to reach such a level in business. They know that the must build their successes of the successes of others in the company. CEO's make most of their money from company profits. So CEO's want the company to be profitable and growing because it's in their own best interest. When business slows, often the board and shareholder put pressure to reduce costs. Don't give CEO's (in general) a bad rap because of a few recent bad apples. Don't you get it?

You can't just not cut IT jobs and add more. It's economics, supply and demand. Don't you get it?

You're saying you want the government to step in? The government is already soo wasteful, the last thing we need to do is add more programs. Don't you get it?

The trend of less and less people going into engineering and technical majors has been that way since before the big boom in the 90's. In fact, that's why H1B visas and outsourcing became popular in the first place. My BSCS graduating class was all of 78, but the current university population was over 38,000. Tons of people change majors out of engineering and technical degrees because they're just plain hard. Don't you get it?

The result of this was that during the boom anyone who read "XXXXX for Dummies" and could talk a good game got a job and a bloated salary. Now the industry's weeded out the chaff and the chaff is pissed about it. Don't you get it?
