To congradulate Mr. Hurd. Hes an evil lil bastard, and he makess a living laying people off.

I will be the first to announce it: R.I.P HP.

Mark Hurd is about to slash this company down to a bare minimum, only when the economy changes, HP will be in no position to capitalize on new market trends because it lacks the R&D, SalesForce, and IT infostructure to make it happen.

This article even makes mention of this. Hurd likes to benchmark the companies he runs against other companies. Thats not a leader...thats a full fleged FOLLOWER. Dell spends X dollars on IT...so we need to be more like Dell. IBM spends Y dollars on R&D, so we need to be more like IBM. No vision....no direction. Just a short little prick who understands that you can still make quarterly numbers if you cut your work-force.

Will the last person at HP please turn off the lights...
