Do I fear the tech behind it? Not a bit. Do I fear the people wishing to use it? You bet your donkey I do!

If we all lived in some fantasy world where governments didn't spy on it's citizens and companies didn't see my personal data as a marketable commodity I might not react so vehemently against all the planned uses of RFID.

But in this world, we have all the historical evidence we need to see this WILL be misused by those in a position to do so. Making that prediction is almost as hard as predicting sun rise tomorrow. It's a no brainer.

What bothers me most is any knowledgeable person suggesting there are no dangers. I can only conclude he is not as knowledgeable as suggested, or he is a bold face liar. There simply is no other possible explanation...
