- "Luddite", huh

Ned Ludd and his followers opposed the technoligical advances of their day because they saw them as threatening their livelihoods (with good reason, BTW). Most of the opposition to RFID comes from the fact that few people enjoy being spyed on, even by private enterprise (much less government). So how does that make privacy advocates "Luddites"? Maybe it's because hard-working entrepreneurs focused on the bottom line are so much more trustworthy than politicians, cops and bureaucrats.
