I guess the good news is that AMD can make a buck and things like their TURDion on selling well.
The bad news is, as the article states, is that this does contradict their bellyaching that they can't get to second base with existing Intel customers. Maybe they should hire better looking sales people or better groomed? Dunno.
Anyway, we all know THE reason, of course, - AMD is using the legal system as a way to get a soap box on which to derive needed press coverage. This is great strategy, of course, and a clever way to use their marketing dollars.
