Well, there is DRM and then there is DRM....
Enforcing "fair use" is "fair" and just plain necessary if we want to move forward. However, the draconian and totalitarian forms of DRM that take away the consumer's rights WILL NOT sustain either the entertainment nor the computer industries. It is a hard lesson that we just have to keep learning over and over again.

Digital Rights Management can work as long as developers remember that consumers have rights too.
