Your analogy in the car dept is good...
There's only one problem, Mac's are not charging anywhere near the premium. You can get an iBook for $1099... That's just as inexpensive as most of the bottom of the barrel craptops out there, and you get a middle of the ine machine. Look at the desktops they sell. For example, the eMac. Holy crap! Where do you get a michine, 17 inch monitor, and a dvd burnere for 1200 bux?? I'm sick of hearing about the premium price mac's command. They don't cost more than wintel boxes, only the bottom barrel crap like emachines, and people pc's. This nonsense has to end, and even folks who believe these machines are nice, are spreading nonsense about the prices. No offense Adam, I don't mean to come off as attacking you, because that's not my intent. I just can't sit back and quietly browse this thread without making sure anyone reading this checks the prices....
