G5 Xserves will run Windows Server Software
Apple will never try to compete with Microsoft
on Wintel platform. It would be suicide
because even OS2 which was many times
superior to Windows NT failed miserably and
was destroyed by the Windows media and
FUD machine. The only OS to thrive on Wintel
compatible machines is Linux and that is
because Linux is FREE. Any clone company
that would bundle OSX for Intel/AMD which
would have little compatible software available
would be crucified by Microsoft.

Apple makes the best computers on the
market and makes a tidy sum doing it.
Companies like Gateway and many other
Windows feeder companies are losing money
bigtime and many are on the verge of
bankruptcy. Apple on the other hand could not
sell a computer for 5 years and still be in
business.
