As I recall, while it was Xerox that invented the first laser printer, Apple was the first to produce one for a personal computer. They were fantastic machines.

I've had one of their LaserWriters in constant use in one our locations for about 10 years. That site doesn't have Macs any more but that printer serves about 25 Windows users these days.
