Apple continues modest move into clusters

Well positioned product: The Xserver sits neatly between Linux and Windows - you get all the polish and simple setup of Windows but for not much more than the price of Linux.

And dang, they look really cool.

Apple owes Virginia Polytech quite a bit for showing how simple it can be to set up a super computer - and VPI must be thinking how much floorspace they could have saved with Xserves!
