- Why would one go to Fujitsu, for starters? IBM was in the storage business long before Fujitsu was a significant player. They exited the business and then reentered. As to the fact that you're been there and worked for them; so what? If Fujitsu offers the better option, do business with them. As to a fascination with IBM, ZDNet is just reporting on a new offering. I think on straight benchmarks, the ESS pretty much smokes anything from Fujitsu.
