Pentium M vs Pentium 4
You should read the story at www.tomshardwareguide.com about the Pentium M and the Pentium 4. The Pentium M is actually a derivitive of the Pentium 3 - thus the limit on the max speed of the processor. That being said - its heat dissipation and performance - when coupled with a new Asus card that allows pentium Ms to ride desktop motherboards (347 pin to 348 pin) - and overclock a bit - it blows away the Pentium 4 EE hands down - and on some tests - even the AMD 64. Intel's processor path may be through the M line - and not the Pentium 4 ......
