I tend to agree with what...
you are saying. They have the odd good product but in between, they run hot, prone to errata (it is in their own white papers) and anything any good costs the same, it not more than an Intel. I have had brand new AMD's choke and sputter when they are under serious load. On the other hand, I have found that Intel chips (older PC cpu's) are the best for building junkers because they just don't want to die and they are just as stable as the day they came from the store. >:-l
