Couple corrections.
The Xbox 360 does not use the Cell processor or even a modified one. It does however use a modified Power PC chip with three cores. OSX nor any other OS is ready to run on the Cell processor. It requires a complete rewrite of any OS to take advantage of cell technology. Cell technology takes advantage of a G5 Core as a dedicated scheduler and then a combination of specialty cores for specific functions. This will make programming for the Cell extremely complicated. In any event, the success of any particular processor platform will be dictated by the software that is available to run on it. If Microsoft ignores Cell it will only occupy a niche market!
