xBox will run on a modified version of the Cell that has been sped up to meet Microsoft's number crunching desires.
Sony Playstation 3 should be the first consumer device that uses the Cell architecture.
The thing to keep in mind is that IBM has been working hard to get vendors in on the Cell Processor Project as well as pushing to get Linux apps to work on the POWER platform.
