I'm not sure about that....Moore actually said...
If memory serves me right...
Moore's law specifically refers to the number of transistors.
"the doubling of transistors every couple of years, or approximately every 18 months"
and as people have noticed,
"In subsequent years, the pace slowed down a bit, but data density has doubled approximately every 18 months"
This does not refer to speed, or computing power or Ghz.
Yet the question remains, does having a dual core chip count as increasing the data density, or just adding more space?
