Apple preps for Macworld harvest

you dont' get it

i'm a mac fan but i also sit safely outside the steve jobs
reality distortion field - left it 10 years ago -still an avid
mac user though (my opinion is that steve is a great
visionary but a terrible businessman and leader. he shoudl
be apple's head visionary and someone else should run the
shop who pays attention to steve's direction but knows how
to increase marketshare).

anyway...

however, you just don't get it - we have these types of
bland shows about every third show or so where steve has
not much to say (maybe one cool announcement) and
spends the majority of his time talking about software.

you're right that this january's macworld was bland and
boring, but it's not because they have succomed to the
malaise that hit the computer industry, they are just mid-
stream in product development. we'll likely see some good
stuff at the next one - pay attention.
