I will investigate intel for WMD's
Amd's memory controller is now on the cpu, so things are quite different now.

Comparing 32 to 64bit can vary greatly depending on what you are doing. Although it's true the application should be 64bit as well to attain max benefit. You should know 32bit handles surfing the web just as efficiently as 64bit.

64bit will bring a new evolution to pc's. Making movies ~ Hi-def, playing unreal video games, Cad programs etc.

Just typing a note or something like that...well a typewriter can do that. duh?

For those of you who say intel makes their own Mobo's. Yes that's all and good, but it tends to slow them down alot. All the meantime Amd's Cpu's are getting faster, quicker because they can concentrate on one thing. It was smart of amd to put the memory controller on the cpu. That was the biggest problem they had with the athalon series that is now fixed with A64.

Manufacturers such as via never could get the memory controller right, the cpu was always starved for data, especially when capturing or editing video.

So for now Intel is in the Axis of Evil.
