In a sense yes they are.
Every advertiser for PCs that exclusively feature Intel based systems receive coop advertising dollars from Intel. This is why so many ads only include Intel systems even if the manufacturer offers AMD based ones.

Dell, who is a HUGE part of any major publication's advertising revenue is exclusivley selling Intel based products.

The views expressed by publications whose advertising revenue is so dependent on Intel whether directly or through subsidized ads for Intel cannot be anything but biased.

Reports of technology from AMD are always laced with snippets that downplay those technologies. Whereas virtually anything about Intel reads like an Intel press release.

This is what to expect when major corporations ***** themselves instead of providing journalism.
