Intel== crap processors. I would rather Apple hit up AMD before considering Intel. What could Intel offer Apple tnat AMD doesn't have and that IBM isn't offering? Look at IBM's mainframe designs using cheaper, more effiecient processors and tell me this story still holds water.

If Apple is doing any negociations with Intel, it is just to get IBM to drop their prices. That or Intel is looking for a place to drop their Itanic chips.

IBM can provide the cell processor, one that very well may change the face of the computer industry and take the PC right out of Intel's clutches. That is if Intel's bumbling and AMD's good fortunes end shortly. AMD has much better luck with tech right now than Intel and so I would say Apple is just being purely retarted when attempting to look at Intel
