Usually problems like this..
tend to rear their ugly head up when in the production field and not so much when they are in testing. But case in point, this was 6 batteries. They probably looked at their past record with LG and decided that now was the time to move on fixing the problem.

I would like to blame LG, or Apple, but the fact of the matter is that the consumer demande or corporated drive to speed products to the field before they are ready are just as much to blame as Apple or LG. Ofcourse that would place the blame back on Apple, but LG didn't research their technology enough. Companies should probably share the blame.

Apple still has a pretty good record though.
