Sad but true
Our politicians have been skirting the issues that are important to this country, much like the Iraq war. I still feel that the Iraq war was overdue, but so far overdue that it was like a referee calling a foul ten minutes after the offense occurred.

Instead of the energy crisis, we get the gay marriage. Instead of the iraq war, we the abortion bills.

Our education system is in need of an overhaul. Our parents have no rights. Our teachers have no rights. Our prisoners have all the rights in the world. We still have no standardized system of measure, sitting somewhere between the metric system and imperial system. (One of my favorite topics.) We unionize to get higher wages causing jobs to go elsewhere because of cheaper labor.

Yeah, our polititions are crap, but they spawn from the ultimate cesspool, spoiled Americans. We really have no clue.

OK, now this rant has lost it.
